Golia is one of Italy's most iconic confectionery brands, best known for its licorice and refreshing mint lozenges. The brand traces its roots back to 1945, when it was introduced by Caremoli in Italy, famous for its small licorice pastilles. Golia Bianca features a minty, crunchy outer coating with a chewy licorice core.

In the 1980s, the Golia brand became part of the Perfetti confectionery group, which later merged with Dutch maker Van Melle to form Perfetti Van Melle. Today, Perfetti Van Melle is one of the world's leading confectionery and chewing gum manufacturers, headquartered in the Netherlands and Italy. The Golia products distributed across Italy are predominantly manufactured at Perfetti Van Melle's Italian production facilities.
