Svedka Vodka

Svedka Vodka was founded in 1998 by Guillaume Cuvelier in Lidköping, Sweden. The name itself is a portmanteau of "Svenska" (the Swedish word for "Swedish") and "vodka." Crafted using winter wheat harvested in the agricultural regions of Sweden and clear Swedish spring water, it quickly developed a reputation as a high-quality yet approachable imported spirit.

In 2007, American beverage giant Constellation Brands acquired Svedka's parent company, Spirits Marque One LLC, integrating the popular vodka brand into its extensive portfolio of wine and spirits.

Today, Svedka Vodka continues to be distilled and manufactured primarily in Lidköping, Sweden, utilizing traditional continuous distillation methods before being distributed internationally, including as a major consumer vodka brand across the United States under Constellation Brands.
