Mammut Aenergy Hike Low GTX is a technical, low-cut hiking shoe equipped with a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane, engineered for day hikes, approach, and fast-paced mountain activities.

The Mammut brand traces its roots back to 1862 when Kaspar Tanner founded a traditional rope-making workshop in Dintikon, Switzerland. Over the decades, the company evolved from making climbing ropes to becoming a globally recognized alpine equipment and outdoor clothing manufacturer.

While Mammut maintains its design, engineering, and heritage headquarters in Seon, Switzerland, its technical footwear products—including the Aenergy Hike line—are produced by specialized footwear manufacturing partners primarily in Vietnam. Since 2021, Mammut Sports Group has been owned by Telemos Capital, a European private equity investment firm founded by Philippe Jacobs, with major offices in London, United Kingdom.
