No Name (stylized as 'no name') is an iconic Canadian private-label brand established in 1978. Renowned for its stark, minimalist packaging consisting of black lowercase Helvetica lettering on a bright yellow background, the line was created to offer consumers basic grocery and household staples at budget-friendly prices without the markup associated with national brand advertising.

Launched by Loblaw Companies Limited, the brand quickly expanded from a modest selection of 16 items to several thousand across grocery, dairy, frozen foods, and household cleaning categories. Today, products are primarily manufactured and processed in Canada through contracts with third-party food processors, with select items sourced internationally depending on commodity availability and production capabilities.

Loblaw Companies Limited remains the ultimate owner and distributor of the No Name label. Loblaw is itself a publicly traded company controlled by George Weston Limited, one of Canada's largest food processing and retail holding corporations, maintaining deep Canadian heritage and market dominance.
