Cailler is one of the oldest and most prestigious chocolate brands in Switzerland, established in 1819 by François-Louis Cailler in Vevey. Known for creating the first solid chocolate bar in Switzerland and later perfecting milk chocolate production using condensed milk, Cailler has maintained a celebrated heritage of Swiss chocolate craftsmanship for over two centuries.

All Cailler chocolate bars, including the 'Les Généreuses Lait Amandes Entières' variety, are manufactured at the historic Maison Cailler factory in Broc, located in the Gruyère region of Switzerland. The brand uses local Swiss dairy milk from regional farms to craft its premium chocolates.

Cailler was integrated into the Nestlé group in 1929 following an amalgamation of Swiss chocolate producers (Peter, Cailler, Kohler). Today, Nestlé S.A., headquartered in Vevey, Switzerland, remains the ultimate owner and global parent company of the Cailler brand.
