Kalles Guld caviar

Kalles Kaviar is a Swedish classic that has been a staple in Swedish households since its launch in 1954. The product, famous for its blue tube and the illustration of a blonde boy (Kalle), was developed by the company Abba Seafood based on a secret recipe from the Lysekil area. The 'Guld' (Gold) version is a premium variant containing a higher percentage of cod roe.

Today, the brand is owned by Orkla, a leading Norwegian conglomerate that acquired Abba Seafood. Despite the Norwegian ownership, Kalles Kaviar remains deeply rooted in Swedish food culture and is still manufactured at the primary production facility in Kungshamn, Sweden. The brand continues to be a market leader in the Nordic region for fish-based spreads.
