Napolina Canned Pulses or Vegetables

Napolina is a widely recognised brand specialising in Italian-inspired pantry staples. The brand was founded in 1965 by Marino Iandiorio, who sought to bring the authentic taste of Naples and the high-quality produce of Italy to the UK market. Initially focused on tomatoes, the brand has since expanded to include pasta, pulses, and oils.

Most Napolina products are sourced and manufactured in Italy to maintain authenticity, specifically within the fertile regions surrounding Naples for their tomato and pulse ranges. Ownership of the brand has transitioned over the decades; it was acquired by Princes Limited in 1999. Princes Limited, a major UK food and drink group, was a subsidiary of the Japanese Mitsubishi Corporation for several decades. In late 2024, Newlat Food S.p.A., an Italian food group, completed the acquisition of Princes Limited, effectively returning the Napolina brand to Italian ownership and integrating it into a major European food manufacturing network.
