The Premier Match line is specifically designed for high-precision shooting, utilizing Sierra MatchKing bullets. Historically part of the Remington Arms Company, the brand underwent significant structural changes following a 2020 bankruptcy.

Today, the Remington brand for ammunition is owned by Vista Outdoor, a major American global designer and manufacturer of outdoor sports and recreation products. While the brand has deep American roots and maintains significant manufacturing facilities in Lonoke, Arkansas, the global nature of supply chains means components may occasionally involve international sourcing. In late 2023, Vista Outdoor entered into agreements to sell its ammunition business (The Kinetic Group) to the Czechoslovak Group (CSG), marking a transition toward European-based ultimate ownership by 2024 and beyond.
