Korres is a renowned Greek skincare brand founded in 1996 by pharmacist George Korres. The brand's origins are deeply rooted in Athens' first homeopathic pharmacy, where Korres began developing natural skincare products based on traditional Greek remedies and local flora. The brand is celebrated for its 'Seed to Skin' philosophy, utilizing indigenous Greek ingredients such as Greek Yoghurt, Wild Rose, and Olive Oil, extracted through environmentally friendly processes.

While Korres remains a quintessentially Greek brand with its primary research and manufacturing facilities located in Greece, its ownership structure has evolved to support global expansion. In 2017, a strategic agreement was reached where North Haven Private Equity Asia (a fund managed by Morgan Stanley) and the Chinese company Profex Inc. acquired a majority stake in the brand. This partnership was designed to bolster Korres' presence in international markets while maintaining the brand's core identity and Hellenic manufacturing roots. Today, George Korres and Lena Korres continue to lead the brand's vision and innovation.
