Walkers is a prominent British snack food manufacturer, best known for its variety of potato crisps. The brand was founded in Leicester, England, in 1948 by Henry Walker, a butcher who turned to frying potato slices during post-war meat rationing. Today, the main production site in Beaumont Leys, Leicester, is one of the largest crisp factories in the world.

While Walkers remains a quintessentially British brand with a long-standing association with UK celebrity culture, it has been owned by the American multinational PepsiCo since 1989. Within the PepsiCo global portfolio, Walkers serves as the UK equivalent of the Lay's brand, sharing similar logos and product innovations while maintaining its distinct British branding and unique regional flavors.
