Colcci and Ellus are two of Brazil's most prominent fashion brands, both currently part of the AMC Têxtil group. Colcci was founded in 1986 in Brusque, Santa Catarina, originally focusing on basic clothing before evolving into a high-fashion label known for its runway shows and celebrity partnerships. Ellus, founded in 1972 by Nelson Alvarenga, is a pioneer in the Brazilian denim market and street fashion.

Today, both brands are managed under the umbrella of AMC Têxtil, a giant in the Latin American textile industry. Most production is concentrated in Brazil, utilizing the group's extensive manufacturing facilities in Santa Catarina and Ceará.
