Wiibroe Beer

Wiibroe is a historic Danish beer brand with deep roots in Helsingør, North Zealand. Originally established in 1840 by Carl Wiibroe, it became one of the first breweries in Denmark to produce bottom-fermented beer, gaining significant popularity over the decades.

While the original brewery in Helsingør closed in 1998, production has continued under the stewardship of larger brewing groups. Today, the beer is produced at the Carlsberg brewery in Fredericia, maintaining its presence in the Danish market as a classic choice, particularly known for its strong annual brews like 'Wiibroe Årgangsøl'.
