Quality Street is an iconic brand of tinned and boxed toffees, chocolates, and sweets. It was originally launched in 1936 by Harold Mackintosh, whose family business, Mackintosh's, was based in Halifax, West Yorkshire, England. The brand was named after a play by J. M. Barrie. To this day, the majority of global production remains at the original factory site in Halifax, maintaining a strong link to its British heritage.

In 1969, Mackintosh's merged with Rowntree's to form Rowntree Mackintosh, which was later acquired by the Swiss multinational Nestlé in 1988. Under Nestlé's ownership, Quality Street has become a global household name, particularly associated with the festive season. The brand continues to be managed as part of Nestlé's extensive confectionery portfolio, benefiting from its global distribution network while keeping its manufacturing roots firmly in the United Kingdom.
