Krakus Frühstücksfleisch

Krakus is an iconic Polish brand established in 1951, initially gaining international fame for its canned hams. The 'Frühstücksfleisch' (luncheon meat) pictured is a classic example of their preserved meat range, produced in Poland using traditional recipes.

Today, the brand is owned by Animex Foods, which is Poland's largest meat producer. Animex Foods itself is a subsidiary of Smithfield Foods, a global leader in pork production. Since 2013, Smithfield Foods (and consequently Krakus) has been a wholly-owned subsidiary of the WH Group, a Hong Kong-listed multinational that stands as the largest pork company in the world.
