Raymarine is a world leader in high-performance marine electronics for both the recreational boating and light commercial marine markets. The brand's history is deeply rooted in British engineering, tracing its origins back to the marine division of Raytheon, a prominent American aerospace and defense company that established its UK-based marine operations decades ago.

Over the years, the brand has transitioned through various ownership structures. In 2001, the division was spun off from Raytheon through a management buyout, forming Raymarine as an independent entity. In 2010, the company was acquired by FLIR Systems, which integrated Raymarine into its specialized maritime thermal imaging and sensing portfolio.

In a landmark deal in 2021, Teledyne Technologies acquired FLIR Systems, including the Raymarine brand. Today, Raymarine operates as a key part of Teledyne FLIR's maritime segment. While the brand maintains a strong engineering presence in the United Kingdom, its manufacturing is largely centralized in specialized facilities in Hungary to serve a global market.
