Komp communication device

Komp is a specialized communication device designed specifically for seniors who are not comfortable with modern touchscreen technology. Developed by the Norwegian company No Isolation, the device features a single-button interface that allows family members to share photos, messages, and conduct video calls through a secure app.

While the hardware was conceptualized and engineered in Oslo, Norway, to meet high European design standards, the assembly and manufacturing primarily take place in China to facilitate global distribution and scale. The brand is a centerpiece of No Isolation's mission to reduce involuntary loneliness and social isolation through warm technology.

The brand remains under the ownership of its founding company, No Isolation AS. As of 2024 and looking toward 2026, the company continues to operate as an independent Norwegian entity supported by various European venture capital firms and private investors, maintaining its headquarters in Oslo while serving markets across Europe and the United Kingdom.
