In 2019, the brand was acquired by PepsiCo, the global food and beverage giant, to complement its existing snack portfolio which includes Walkers and Lay's. Despite this acquisition by a multinational corporation based in the United States, Pipers continues to operate with a focus on its British heritage. The manufacturing process remains centered in the UK, primarily at their facility in Elsham Wold, Lincolnshire, maintaining the brand's commitment to quality and local sourcing.
