Stork Beer

Stork Beer is a well-known Ethiopian lager brand that holds a significant place in the East African brewing heritage. Originally launched under the Meta Abo Brewery, the brand has become a staple for consumers looking for traditional, crisp lager taste.

In 2012, the brand's trajectory changed when the Meta Abo Brewery was acquired by the British multinational Diageo. However, as part of a strategic shift in their African operations, Diageo later reached an agreement to sell the brewery. Since 2022, the brand and its manufacturing facilities have been owned and operated by the Castel Group (Groupe Castel), a French beverage giant with extensive operations across the African continent. Today, Stork continues to be brewed primarily in Ethiopia to serve both domestic and international markets.
