Hummel socks

Hummel is a historic sportswear brand known for its iconic chevron logo. Originally founded in Hamburg, Germany, in 1923 by Albert Messmer and Michael Ludwig Messmer, the brand specialized in football boots. Following various ownership changes, the brand was acquired by Danish owners in 1975 and eventually became a fully Danish company based in Aarhus.

Today, Hummel is owned by the Danish conglomerate Thornico Group, which is controlled by Christian and Thor Stadil. While the brand's design and headquarters remain in Denmark, the manufacturing of their apparel and footwear, including socks, is primarily outsourced to major textile manufacturing hubs in Asia and Europe to meet global demand.
