The brand was founded in 1992 in Sant Quirze de Besora, Barcelona, Spain, by Joan Garriga. It quickly established itself as a technical leader in the development of hardware for climbing gyms and outdoor rock climbing routes.

In 2011, Fixe expanded its reach by merging with Faders and Alien Cams, leading to the formation of Fixe Climbing. The company's manufacturing is primarily concentrated in Spain, ensuring high safety standards for its technical equipment. Today, the brand remains under the ownership of Tech Rock S.L., maintaining its headquarters in the Barcelona region and continuing its legacy of producing essential gear for the global climbing community.
