Originally founded in Spain as a dedicated brand for the e-commerce giant Deporvillage, the production of DPV eyewear typically takes place in China to ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining technical specifications. In 2022, the Italian group ISRG (International Sports Retail Group) finalized the acquisition of Deporvillage, which in turn brought the brand under the ultimate ownership of JD Sports Fashion PLC, a major British multinational specialized in sports fashion and equipment.
