HP (Hewlett-Packard) is one of the most iconic names in the technology industry, founded in a garage in Palo Alto, California, in 1939. The brand revolutionized personal computing and printing, becoming a global leader in office and home hardware. The LaserJet series, introduced in the mid-1980s, set the standard for laser printing technology worldwide.
While the HP brand originated in the United States, its manufacturing operations are highly globalized. Most of its consumer and office hardware, including the LaserJet MFP M234sdw, is produced in large-scale facilities in Vietnam and China to maintain global supply chain efficiency. Following the corporate split of Hewlett-Packard Company in 2015, the printing and personal systems business became HP Inc., which remains a publicly traded American multinational headquartered in California.
