Fazer Tyrkisk Peber Original confectionery

Tyrkisk Peber, often referred to as 'Turkish Pepper', is a popular brand of salty liquorice flavored with ammonium chloride and black pepper. Despite its name, the product was actually invented in Denmark in 1977 by Per Fjelsten at his company Perelly.

In 1996, the brand was acquired by the Finnish food company Fazer, which has since integrated it into its core sweets portfolio. Today, the product is primarily manufactured in Finland at Fazer's production facilities. The brand is globally recognized for its intense heat and salty profile, remaining a staple in Nordic confectionery markets under the ultimate ownership of Fazer Group, which continues to operate as a family-owned entity based in Helsinki.
