Historically, the brand is famous for its 'Goldsaft' (golden syrup), and the 'Heller Sirup' variant is a milder, lighter alternative widely used for baking and breakfast. The manufacturing process is concentrated in its original location in the Rhineland region, where locally grown sugar beets are processed into high-quality syrup.
