Olmeca Altos Plata Tequila

Olmeca Altos Plata is a premium 100% Blue Agave tequila produced in the heart of Los Altos, the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. The brand was famously created through a collaboration between internationally renowned British bartenders Henry Besant and Dre Masso, alongside Master Distiller Jesús Hernández. It is known for its traditional production methods, including the use of a two-ton volcanic Tahona stone wheel to crush the cooked agave hearts, which imparts a unique citrus and herbal flavor profile to the spirit.

While the brand has strong cultural roots in Mexican craftsmanship and was founded by a mix of Mexican and British expertise, it is currently part of a global spirits portfolio. Olmeca Altos is owned by Pernod Ricard, a French multinational company that is one of the world's largest producers of wine and spirits. The tequila continues to be distilled at the Destilería Colonial de Jalisco in Arandas to maintain its authentic origin and quality standards under the supervision of the original Master Distiller.
