Norlys is Denmark's largest integrated energy and telecommunications group. The company provides a wide range of services including electricity supply, natural gas, internet connectivity (fiber optic), and television solutions to millions of households and businesses across Denmark.

The brand was formed through the significant merger of two major regional energy companies, SE (Syd Energi) and Eniig, in 2019. This consolidation created a cooperative giant owned by about 800,000 shareholders (customers), reflecting a business model deeply rooted in the Danish cooperative tradition where the users are also the owners.

Today, Norlys continues to expand its infrastructure, particularly in high-speed fiber broadband and electric vehicle charging networks via Norlys Charging. It operates primarily within the Danish market and maintains its headquarters in Silkeborg, Denmark. The company remains owned by its members through a cooperative structure, ensuring that profits are reinvested into infrastructure and community green initiatives.
