Beavertown Brewery is a prominent name in the UK craft beer scene, famously known for its vibrant artwork and innovative hop-forward recipes. Founded in 2011 by Logan Plant in the kitchen of Duke's Brew and Que in Hackney, London, it quickly rose to national popularity. The brand is celebrated for its flagship beers like Gamma Ray and Neck Oil.
In 2018, Heineken N.V. purchased a minority stake (49%) in the company to help fund the development of 'Beaverworld,' a massive brewing facility in Enfield. By September 2022, Heineken acquired the remaining shares of the company, taking full ownership of the brand. While Beavertown remains headquartered in London and continues to brew its core range in the UK, its ultimate ownership and strategic direction now sit within the global portfolio of the Dutch brewing giant, Heineken N.V.
