Parodontax is a specialized oral health brand originally developed in Germany by the dentist Dr. Focke in 1937. Initially known for its toothpaste formulated with sodium bicarbonate and herbal extracts to treat gum disease, the brand has expanded into a full range of oral hygiene products, including the mouthwash shown here.
The brand was historically managed by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Consumer Healthcare. In 2022, GSK spun off its consumer healthcare division into an independent company called Haleon. Parodontax is now a flagship brand under Haleon plc, a British multinational worker-focused healthcare company headquartered in Weybridge, UK. Manufacturing for Parodontax products takes place across multiple global facilities, including sites in Europe and Asia, to serve various regional markets.
