Hitster board game

Hitster is a popular music-themed party game where players listen to music snippets and place them in chronological order. The brand was originally created by the Dutch company Jumbo (Koninklijke Jumbo B.V.) in the Netherlands. It has since become a global success, particularly in Europe.

Manufacturing of the physical components is primarily conducted in China to maintain scale. In 2024, the Jumbodiset Group, which owned the Hitster brand, was acquired by the Italian multinational toy and game company, Gruppo Giochi Preziosi. As of 2026, the ultimate ownership remains with Giochi Preziosi, who manages the brand's international distribution and development.
