Hartwall is one of Finland's most iconic beverage companies, founded in 1836 by Victor Hartwall in Helsinki. The brand is deeply ingrained in Finnish culture, notably for originating the famous "Long Drink" (lonkero) for the 1952 Helsinki Summer Olympics. Today, Hartwall produces a wide variety of drinks, including the Jaffa soda range, Novelle mineral waters, and various beers and ciders.

Historically an independent family business, Hartwall underwent a series of corporate shifts starting with a merger with Hansa Bryggeri in 1988, followed by a major merger with Scottish & Newcastle in 2002. In 2008, Heineken N.V. acquired Scottish & Newcastle, bringing Hartwall under Dutch ownership. However, in 2013, the Danish brewing giant Royal Unibrew A/S acquired Hartwall from Heineken. As of 2024 and beyond, Hartwall remains a key subsidiary of Royal Unibrew, maintaining its primary production facilities in Lahti, Finland, to serve the Nordic market.
