Ale No 16 is a classic dark top-fermented beer originally brewed by Bryggeriet Refsvindinge on the island of Funen, Denmark. First introduced in 1995, it quickly became one of Denmark's most popular specialty beers, even winning consumer awards as the best beer in Denmark.

While the brand originated at the small family-owned Refsvindinge brewery, its massive success led to a cooperation agreement regarding production. Today, the beer is brewed primarily at Bryggeriet Vestfyen in Assens under license to meet high demand, though it remains deeply rooted in its Funen heritage. The brand continues to be a staple in Danish supermarkets and bars, maintaining its recipe and status as a pioneering craft ale in the Danish market.
