Orange Amplification is an iconic British manufacturer of guitar and bass amplifiers and speaker cabinets. The brand was founded in 1968 by Cliff Cooper in London, initially as a recording studio and guitar shop before transitioning into manufacturing. Orange is world-renowned for its distinct visual identity, featuring bright orange Tolex coverings and unique graphic symbols (hieroglyphs) for control labels.

While the company's premium and high-end series are still manufactured in the United Kingdom, many of their more affordable lines, such as the 'Crush' and 'Micro' series, are produced in China and other locations. Despite expanding its manufacturing footprint, Orange remains a privately owned British company, maintaining its headquarters and design operations in England.
