Bauducco is a world-renowned brand originally founded by Carlo Bauducco, an Italian immigrant who brought traditional panettone recipes to Brazil in 1952. Since its inception in São Paulo, the brand has evolved from a small pastry shop into the world's largest manufacturer of panettones and a leader in biscuits and wafers.
While the company has deep Italian roots, it is a quintessential Brazilian success story. Most Bauducco products are manufactured in their state-of-the-art facilities in Brazil (specifically in the state of São Paulo); however, certain specialty packaging items like these butter cookie tins are sometimes produced in collaborative facilities in China for global export. The brand remains under the private ownership of the Bauducco family via the Pandurata Group, maintaining its heritage while operating a significant presence in the United States and over 50 other countries.
