Leitz is a renowned premium brand in the office supplies industry, originally founded by Louis Leitz in 1871 in Stuttgart, Germany. The company is famous for inventing the lever arch file, which remains a staple of office organization worldwide. Today, the Leitz brand represents high-quality professional office equipment ranging from staplers and hole punches to laminators and ergonomic accessories.

While the brand has its historical and engineering roots in Germany, its ownership transformed over the years. In 1998, the Leitz company was acquired by the Swedish group Esselte. Subsequently, in 2017, the American group ACCO Brands acquired Esselte, making ACCO Brands the current ultimate owner of the Leitz trademark.
