Beciul Domnesc is one of Romania's most established national wine brands, with its roots deeply tied to the Vrancea viticulture region. The brand takes its name from the 'Princely Cellar' (Beciul Domnesc), a historical monument dating back to the 15th century in Focsani, which still serves as a storage site for the company's treasure collection.

Today, the brand is owned by Vincon Romania (also known as Beciul Domnesc S.A.), one of the country's largest wine producers. The company manages over 1,400 hectares of vineyards across several prestigious wine regions, including Cotești, Odobești, and Panciu. The production remains entirely within Romania, focusing on traditional winemaking techniques combined with modern industrial capacity.
