Lizi's High Protein Granola is a premium breakfast product designed for health-conscious consumers. The brand was founded in the United Kingdom by Dr. Mick Shaw and his wife, Lizi Shaw, who initially began making their signature granola for guests at their bed and breakfast in Wales. The brand became well-known for being the first to measure the Glycaemic Load (GL) of its products.

While the brand started as a small local enterprise, it was acquired by the Irish food group Valeo Foods in 2017. Today, the products are primarily manufactured in the United Kingdom and distributed globally. Valeo Foods, the ultimate owner, is a major international producer of branded and private-label food products, owned by the global investment firm Bain Capital.
