Ariete is an iconic Italian brand founded in 1964 in the heart of Tuscany, specifically in Campi Bisenzio, Florence. Originally known for its innovative small kitchen appliances and cleaning tools, the brand became famous for its unique designs, such as the 'Gratì' cheese grater. In 1995, Ariete was acquired by Kenwood, and subsequently, in 2001, it became part of the De'Longhi Group.

While the brand maintains its creative and design hub in Italy to preserve its aesthetic heritage, the physical manufacturing of its products, including the air fryer shown, is primarily outsourced to large-scale production facilities in China to remain competitive in the global market. Today, Ariete remains a key subsidiary of the De'Longhi Group, benefiting from the parent company's extensive distribution network and technological resources.
