Krönleins is a prestigious Swedish brewery with roots dating back to 1836 when Anders Julius Appeltofft founded the brewery in Halmstad, Sweden. Originally known as Appeltofftska Bryggeri, the company has remained deeply connected to its coastal origins and traditional brewing heritage. The brewery was eventually taken over by the Krönlein family in the early 20th century, which led to its current name.
Today, Krönleins Bryggeri AB is recognized as one of Sweden's oldest and most established independent breweries. Unlike many historic brands that have been acquired by multinational conglomerates, Krönleins maintains its independence as a family-owned business. It produces a wide array of products including Crocodile Lager, Three Hearts, and various soft drinks and ciders, primarily manufactured at their facility in Halmstad for domestic and international markets.
