Malaco Sirkus Aakkoset is a popular Finnish confectionery product known for its fruit and liquorice flavored gummy letters. The 'Aakkoset' brand was originally introduced by the Finnish company Hellas in 1970. Over decades of industry consolidation, the brand became part of the Malaco portfolio.
Today, the brand is owned by Cloetta, a leading Nordic confectionery company. While the brand has deep Finnish roots and was originally manufactured in Turku, Finland, Cloetta moved much of its candy production to more centralized facilities. Currently, these products are primarily manufactured in Cloetta's factory in Levice, Slovakia, which serves most of the European market. Despite the change in manufacturing location, it remains a staple of the Finnish candy market.
