Mueller's is a historic American pasta brand that has been a staple in households for over 150 years. Founded in 1867 by Christian Mueller in Newark, New Jersey, the brand initially specialized in handmade noodles and quickly grew into a major commercial pasta manufacturer. Throughout its history, Mueller's has maintained a strong identity as a traditional American pasta brand, emphasizing quality semolina wheat and non-GMO ingredients.
Over the decades, the brand has changed ownership several times through various corporate acquisitions. It was long associated with Best Foods, which later became part of Unilever. In 2003, it was acquired by the American Italian Pasta Company, which was subsequently bought by Ralcorp and later Conagra Brands. As of the early 2020s, Mueller's is owned by Ebro Foods, a global leader in the rice and pasta sectors headquartered in Spain. Despite the international ownership, the product continues to be primarily manufactured in the United States to serve its core North American market.
