Fontarel is a prominent Spanish brand of natural mineral water, specifically sourced from the El Pilar spring located in Loja, Granada. The water is bottled directly at the source to preserve its natural mineral composition.

Historically, the brand belonged to the Red Española de Servicios, but it was acquired by the Hijos de Rivera group (the parent company of Estrella Galicia) in 2011 to expand their beverage portfolio beyond beer. Today, Fontarel remains a significant part of the Corporación Hijos de Rivera, a family-owned Spanish brewery and beverage distributor known for its international reach and strong commitment to environmental sustainability, including the use of 100% recycled PET in their packaging.
