Angulus is a premium Danish shoe brand that has established itself as a cornerstone of Nordic design within the footwear industry. Founded in 1904 at his father's shoemaker's workshop on Nørrebrogade in Copenhagen, Willy Madsen challenged the pointed-toe fashion standards of the early 20th century by developing shoes that followed the natural shape of the foot. This revolutionary approach, developed in collaboration with doctors and physiotherapists, remains the brand's signature today.

While the design and conceptualization remain deeply rooted in Denmark, Angulus shifted its production to Portugal in the 1960s to ensure high-quality craftsmanship at scale. Today, all Angulus shoes are handcrafted in their own factory in Portugal using natural materials like leather and plantation crepe rubber. The brand remains family-owned, maintaining its commitment to tradition and quality across generations.
