Forex Currency Exchange and Travel Money

Founded in 1965 in Sweden, FOREX is the largest foreign exchange bureau in the Nordic region. The company originated when Gunde Nyman purchased the currency exchange office of the Swedish State Railways (SJ) at Stockholm Central Station. Since then, it has evolved into a leading financial services provider specializing in international travel money and currency services.

While FOREX held a banking license for many years, in 2021 the company underwent a strategic shift to focus on its core business of currency exchange and travel-related financial products.
