Birrificio Angelo Poretti is a historic Italian beer brand founded in 1877 by Angelo Poretti in Induno Olona, Italy. The brewery was established following Poretti's travels throughout Europe, where he learned the art of brewing from Austrian, German, and Bohemian masters. Today, the brand is celebrated for its traditional brewing methods and its specific "Luppoli" (hops) varieties, with the Quattro Luppoli (4-hop) lager being one of its most popular exports.
While the brand maintains its strong Italian heritage and identity, it is currently owned by the Carlsberg Group, a Danish multinational brewing company. Carlsberg acquired the brewery fully in 2002 after a long-standing partnership. The beer continues to be brewed primarily in its original historic location in Induno Olona, Italy, preserving the authentic craftsmanship that defines the brand's reputation globally.
