Hydro Flask was founded in 2009 in Bend, Oregon, by Travis Rosbach and Cindy Williams. The brand gained rapid popularity for its high-quality vacuum-insulated stainless steel bottles that could keep beverages cold for 24 hours or hot for 12 hours. The brand's identity is deeply rooted in the outdoor culture of the Pacific Northwest and is currently designed in the USA.
Technically, while the design and engineering take place in Bend, Oregon, the manufacturing is conducted in China to facilitate large-scale production. In 2016, the brand was acquired by Helen of Troy Limited, a global consumer products company. Under this ownership, Hydro Flask has expanded its product line into hydration, coffee, beer, food, and soft goods, maintaining its status as a premium lifestyle brand for outdoor enthusiasts.
