The brand was originally established by Herman Salling as part of the expansion of the F. Salling A/S department stores and later integrated into Dansk Supermarked, which was rebranded as Salling Group in 2018. The product is manufactured in Denmark to supply the group's retail chains, including føtex, Bilka, and Netto. Ownership is held by the Salling Foundations, ensuring the company remains under Danish control.
