Philips, a brand synonymous with Dutch engineering, has a long history in the home appliance market. In 2021, Royal Philips sold its Domestic Appliances business to Hillhouse Investment, a global investment firm. This division now operates under the name Versuni. While it continues to use the Philips brand name under a long-term license, the headquarters for this specific branch remains in Amsterdam. Manufacturing for vacuum cleaners is largely concentrated in Asia to maintain competitive global distribution.
