MAOAM Stripes are a popular chewy candy segment under the MAOAM brand. Historically, MAOAM was founded in Neuss, Germany, in 1930 by Edmund Münster. The brand became famous for its fruit-flavored chew bars and uniquely identifiable playful mascot characters.

In 1986, the HARIBO Group, another German confectionery giant, acquired the Edmund Münster company, bringing MAOAM into its global portfolio. Today, MAOAM remains one of the leading names in chewy sweets worldwide. Production predominantly takes place at HARIBO's state-of-the-art facilities in Germany, though the brand is distributed globally through HARIBO's extensive network.
