Today, the ownership of the Dole brand is split between two major entities following a significant reorganization. Meanwhile, Dole Packaged Foods, which handles canned and shelf-stable products, is owned by the ITOCHU Corporation, a major Japanese trading house. Manufacturing takes place across the globe, including significant operations in the Philippines, Thailand, and the United States, to ensure a year-round supply of fresh and packaged items.
