In 2017, the brand transitioned from SABMiller ownership to the Asahi Group Holdings, Ltd., a Japanese global conglomerate specializing in beverages and food. Today, Timișoreana is produced in several modern facilities across Romania, including Timișoara, Buzău, and Brașov, under the supervision of Ursus Breweries, which remains the local subsidiary of the Japanese parent company. This ensures that while the ultimate ownership is international, the manufacturing and cultural identity remain local.
